“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?” by Robert Schuller
Often in our life, we are hesitant towards attempting new things because of our reluctance to fail. For instance, we are afraid to try out new foods simply because we might fail, in other words, not like it. Moreover, we are often afraid to ask someone out merely due to our fear of getting rejected. Here, Robert Schuller directly challenges this mindset by asking a question to the readers: “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”
If ‘success’ is guaranteed, we would probably be able to act more confidently by actively trying out new foods, and expressing love towards others without fear. By then, we would be approaching things differently, becoming more supportive towards anything around us.
This single change in our mindset indeed brings differences in our lives. Now, why don’t we try new things before we fear?
