A New Beginning

Plants and animals both thrive and  awaken in the spring. Spring marks the beginning of a new chapter for everyone, as it provides an opportunity to develop and evolve. The transition from winter to spring emphasizes the transition in life to a warmer environment. Spring is a time for a fresh start. It is time to get to work and be productive. It is crucial to give back to the environment and experience the outer world during the spring season.

Planting trees is a great way to start the season of spring. Spring has weather and soil conditions that are suitable for growing trees. Adding on, “one tree produces nearly 260 pounds of oxygen each year. Two mature trees can provide enough oxygen for a family of four” (Helmenstine). Planting trees is not only beneficial for humans but actually can lead to new homes for animals. Therefore, it is time to take care of the world we live in.

Going outside is a vital activity that should not be overlooked in the spring. The sun shines brightly in the spring, yet the temperature is not very hot. The human body needs sunshine because it produces serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps create energy and maintains the mind healthy and pleasant (“Sunlight and Your Health”). The sun can also aid to improve the quality of one’s daily life. Going outside, in other words, is a highly recommended activity.

Spring is an excellent time to try out new hobbies. It is an opportunity to continue helping to make our world a better place for humans and animals. Others may see it as an opportunity to explore and experiment. Spring may be interpreted in a variety of ways, but it all relies on people and their goals.
