NYU’s Internatinal Admissions Officer visited Seoul Scholars International on May 30th.
She talked about test scores for admission and mentioned that students are not required to submit SAT/ACT scores if they submit SAT II subject test scores or 3 AP scores end of their 11th grade year. NYU requires two recommendation letters. One from an academic counselor and one from a teacher. One of the most important parts of the application is answering “Why NYU” and students must answer this question after carefully thinking about why they must attend NYU and must be NYU specific. She also talked about utilizing the career office, as they prepare students for internships and interviews after they graduate.
The visit was very informative for our students and they asked questions about different majors offered, difference between the NY campus and Shanghai campus, and admitted student profile.
