International Admissions Officer from Syracuse University visited Seoul Scholars International on April 5th. Syracuse offers large range of academic programs and there are over 200 academic disciplines to choose from and there are around 100 minors. The Admissions Officer mentioned that Syracuse believes in having smaller classes and 80 % of their classes have 30 students and they get to interact with professors and other students on a daily basis. In addition, they believe in hands-on experiences and offer career advising to all students. Syracuse University is very well known in the U.S and have 13~14 job fairs per year. Furthermore, Syracuse has a fantastic study abroad programs and they even make sure STEM students can finish their degrees on time when they go abroad. Syracuse does not require SAT/ACT but TOEFL is required if students attended a school outside of U.S. Overall, Syracuse visit was very informative and many students developed interest in Syracuse after watching the presentation.
